Cameron Whaley and his wife, Shannon, met while serving in ministry together at the First Baptist Church of Edmond, OK. Even before they married in 2003, they were serving together in churches and overseas doing evangelism and ministry. Cameron has served as a pastor since 2001 and has led 3 churches during that time. His first church to pastor was Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Prague, OK and then he served Beverly Hills Baptist Church in South Oklahoma City. Most recently Cameron and Shannon began their ministry at Canadian Valley Baptist Church in 2009. They have two girls, Emma and Evelyn; and they have two boys, Elijah and Ezra. They are two years apart from age 8 to 14!!!! You’re more than welcome to come see what a house with 4 children is like (btw, it’s wonderful!)! Cameron graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree. He majored in Bible and minored in Psychology. Cameron completed a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008. Most recently, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership and Master of Theology in Practical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. In his free time Cameron enjoys his family, works in his woodshop, and plays with his dogs.
