Cameron Whaley and his wife, Shannon, met while serving in ministry together at the First Baptist Church of Edmond, OK. Even before they married in 2003, they were serving together in churches and overseas doing evangelism and ministry. Cameron has served as a lead pastor since 2001. The Whaleys moved to Northeast Oklahoma in January of 2020 at which time Cameron became the Lead Pastor of Aspen Park Baptist Church in Broken Arrow.
They have two girls, Emma and Evelyn; and they have two boys, Elijah and Ezra. You’re more than welcome to come see what a house with 4 children is like (btw, it’s wonderful!)! Cameron graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree. He majored in Bible and minored in Psychology. Cameron completed a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008. In 2018, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership and a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. In his free time Cameron enjoys his family, works in his woodshop, and plays with his dogs.
